It was testament to how weird his life was, the fact that their precinct were after a vigilante that ran around the city in a tutu.

To be fair, it didn't look half as silly as it sounded, although that didn't help when everyone had gotten used to referring to the character as such.

"Tutu" was one of the few crime-fighters-in-tight-tights that had popped up in Golden Crown over the last two years, with no real explanation as to how they came to be or what in the hell was with those getups, but they were, admittedly, doing a great job cleaning up what the cops couldn't.

Steampunk.d is a story of a boy named Ahiru and his dream to dance with his beloved caretaker, Miyu. (Mytho)

In Kinkan, the most technologically advanced city on the edge of the world, steam is the one source of power, fueling inventions such as vehicles, appliances, machinery, and every kind of invention you can think of.

Ahiru is a no-name orphan without legs, having lost them in the Skyship war seven years ago. He is an inventor, and his main project is the steam limbs: moving, working limbs to replace his simple prosthetic ones.

His wish is to dance with Miyu, and if ever, show her how he felt about her.

But when a crisis plunges Kinkan into peril, and Sky pirates invade the city in a mercilessly complicated plot involving the city's mechanism, Ahiru must choose between his own dreams, and the future of his home.

Characters:

Ahiru: a thirteen-year old inventor who ultimately has Kinkan's destiny on his shoulders and a past returning to haunt him.

Fakia: A teenage metallurgist-in-training and weapon's expert, Ahiru's self-employed protector.

Miyu: Caretaker of the orphanage (though she has a secret hidden behind her kindess)

Kuroha "Ro": An infamous sky pirate who sweeps Miyu off her feet.

Drosselmeyer: Legendary father of Kinkan's mechanism, the center of Kinkan's power and stability. It was said that he lived for thousands of years, converting his body into machinery.

Aotoa: Book keeper and historian of Kinkan. Her cat seems to pop up everywhere.

Down near kid Ahiru is Kuroha's pirate Sky ship, with a raven on the blimp. Still wondering what to call it though XD It's a lot like a zeppelin.
