Princess Tutu: Jazz Age Fashion by AteMozzarella Princess Tutu: Jazz Age Fashion by AteMozzarella
Morning and evening wear for the Princesses and their high end 20s fashion ;) For the :iconclub-tutu: Jazz age contest. Colored both traditionally and digitally.

Disclaimers and such.

I originally did two but ended up just coloring one ;) Plus my other one looks quite like a work in the folder already. And I lost time. So yeah. LOVE this style. This was a golden era.

EDIT:
Admin's Choice Winner to the August 2012 contest. Yay!

Very interesting concept and follow through, thanks for remembering Duck's freckles.I love how you stayed true to their respective color schemes and styles but was still able to be creative.Nice fur texture and I love how the pearls shine.

I really like the outfits you chose! D: I wish I could have done something but I have no time now that school started. XD Though I can still do small chibis for some reason. Oh my priorities.

Good luck in the contest!

Oh I can imagine. I've been super tired from schoolwork and it's only been like two weeks. 0_0 I just realized something about your piece. It reminds me of art deco. XD Which I was going to do with some Aaron douglas like in the Almost There sequence for Princess and the Frog. The font you used also reminds me of art deco.

It's a failed attempt at something resembling art deco, please pay it no heed xP
The font is actually a free art deco font I searched online :)) YES. I wanted to do something similar to the Great Gatsby trailer with its awesome art deco styles, but no time.
Apparently, only eight people like it :/ As opposed to the 80+ that liked the other one. *sigh*

Hahaha I'm part of the eight people. XD Like I said before, I've been really into that sequence in Princess and the Frog. I don't think so at all. Art Deco to me is bold in color, yet simple in shapes. I saw that in your piece. XD Yes my design classes are paying off. Super neat and yes I remember seeing that trailer!

Don't get down! There's popular vote and admin vote. :D I got admin vote for one contest.

Wow wow wow that would mean a heck of a lot to me, but it's totally your choice! :D

I love the art deco. I'll try practicing it more, the style and the fashion and the colors. This was a first attempt so it's still pretty, well, bad, but I'm glad it meshed well with the drawing.

I remember that sequence from Princess and the Frog. Definitely one of the refs I'll be using.
